Background
The first Assembly of God, wortmanville church was formed over four decades ago. The institution’s considerable growth and development over the years, has compelled its leadership to consistently upgrade and enhance programs in response to the needs of its members and target communities.
As an institution, the programs of FAOG extend beyond its membership and neighbouring communities to communities and households all across Guyana, regionally and internationally. These programs include academic and skills training, counseling, recreation, missionary assignments and support for the needy and destitute.

The environment in which classes are thought is conducive and the resources needed to make such courses successful are adequate. It is entirely up to the Brethren and even non-believers within and outside of the immediate environment of First Assembly of God to make a decision, cease the opportunity and use it to the best of their ability in the interest of their own personal development and for the advancement of God’s Kingdom and the furtherance of his mighty work. A number of people have engaged themselves in the courses offered and it’snow left up to you, the reader, to take advantage of these academic courses.
