Vision Statement
To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all peoples of this land and to influence this nation and the nations of this world for God.
To be facilitators of unity among the brethren.
To pioneer, train, develop and empower all peoples especially children and youth to live a purpose – driven life.
WE BELIEVE:
- In one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
- that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died, buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father and is the advocate between God and man.
- in the bible in its entirety to be the inspired word of God, and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
- in the resurrection of the dead and the eternal punishment of the lost.
- in personal salvation for the believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
- in sanctification through the word of God by the Holy Spirit, and in personal holiness of the heart and life.
- in divine healing through faith in the name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the redemption of man.
- in water baptism, and baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth. We also believing in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), the gifts of the Spirit and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that these are all available to believers.
- in evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the Christian Commission (matthew 28: 19 – 20).
If you are thinking of a place to hear the enriched truths of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or if you feel the need to visit, then First Assembly of God Wortmanville is the church to visit. You would not regret your stay since there is a warm welcome that awaits everyone upon being greeted by competent Ushers or the Protocol team and by extension our members that seems to always wear a pleasant smile.
Remember main services are held on Sunday morning services: 7AM and 11AM and Youth Service at 6PM, Wednesday at 6:30pm (Bible Study), Thursday morning at 10AM (Deliverance Service), Friday at 6:30PM (Prayer Meeting).
As you enter any of these services you will experience a rich out pouring of the Holy Spirit as he uses or operate in the gifts of his people. So as you enter in worship sessions the Holy Spirit takes full control.
As the messages are delivered in a very professional manner by either of the many pastors the Holy Spirit will speak to his people collectively or individually. One thing of note, is that it will be done in a professional manner and is of high standard.
You may also experience Divine Healing which is a critical component of the Faith. In addition the speaking in tongues by almost all members and dependent on your availability to be filled you may be speaking in tongues before the service is through.
At the end of it all you will feel at home in a relaxed and Holy Ghost filled atmosphere. The most visible person you will encounter is the HOLY SPIRIT.

The scriptures of the entire Bible are verbally inspired by God. It was not just the ideas that were inspired; even the choice of words was inspired as the original writers were moved by God to write what He wanted them to say. We therefore believe that (1) the scriptures are God’s revelation of himself to mankind, (2) they are infallible (never wrong), and (3) they are the divinely authoritative guide for our faith, belief and manner of living (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21).
One True God
There is one true God. He has revealed himself as having always existed without any outside cause or agent bringing Him into being (Isaiah 43:10). He is the creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1) and the One who redeems, saves, or rescues mankind from sin and its painful consequences (Isaiah 43:11). God has further revealed himself as a single being (Deuteronomy 6:4) consisting of three interrelated persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22). This concept of one God or Being of three persons is called the Trinity.
The Lord Jesus Christ is Fully God
The Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God, has always existed. He too without beginning or end (Revelation 1:8). In order to complete His earthly sacrificial mission, He became human by being born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:31, 35). He lived a perfect life, absolutely without sin (Hebrew 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22). While on earth he worked many miracles through the anointing of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:22, 10:38). In order to restore fallen mankind, He died on the cross as a substitute for the sins of every person (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21). He was raised from the dead by

We receive jobs and better jobs, raises and bonuses, sales and commissions, benefits and settlements, interest and income, rebates and returns, checks in the mail, gifts and surprises, bills paid off, debts demolished, royalties received, my whole family saved and walking with God, perfect health and abundance to walk in divine favor and blessing.
